Local AI ROI
The business case for local AI on Windows, built on your own PC.
About 208 MB on Arm64, 209 MB on x64. The bundle carries every architecture in one file, but Windows downloads only the package your PC needs.
This build is signed with a demo certificate, so Windows will refuse to install it until
that certificate is trusted on the PC. This only has to be done once per PC.
First install
- Download the certificate above.
- Right-click the
.cerfile and choose Install Certificate. - Pick Local Machine, then Place all certificates in the following store, and choose Trusted People.
- Select Install / update the app, then open the downloaded
.appinstallerfile.
Later updates
Nothing to do. The app checks this site each time it starts and offers the new version, downloading only the parts of the package that changed.
Prefer to install the package directly without automatic updates? Download the bundle, 416 MB. That is the whole file with both architectures in it, so it is the slow way to get the same build.
Requirements
- Windows 11 version 24H2 (build 26100) or newer, on Arm64 or x64.
- Your scenarios are stored on this PC, in your Windows account. Nothing is sent to a service.
What changed
0.1.11.0 current 2026-10-14
- First build published to this install site. Installing from here keeps the app up to date automatically.
- Each employee group can carry its own token price. Developers default to $0.98 per million tokens, a blend that reflects how heavily coding tools reuse cached context.
- Offload and local speech now follow the memory of each group's PC: a 64GB developer machine offloads far less than a 128GB one, and a 16GB frontline PC runs no local speech or local model.
- The Excel workbook shows each group's token price and local speech share, and uses the same machine limits as the screen and the PDF.
- The app is branded Local AI ROI throughout.
